Michigan ~ Buying Process

Once you have decided which property/properties you would like to purchase, we take you through the following process:

  1. Provide you with a copy of our Terms and Conditions Contract (for you to read, sign and return to us) together with a copy of The Engineers Home Inspection Report detailing any repairs that need to be made with costings of the repairs.
  2. Arrange for your Reservation Deposit to be made in order to take the property off the market.
  3. Introduce you to the Attorney/Title Company who will be working for you and arrange for all signed contracts to be sent to the Attorney.
  4. Introduce you to the Property Management Company who will manage the rental of your property on your instruction upon completion/closing and who will arrange to carry out any repairs required under your instruction.
  5. Advise when your completion of purchase funds need to be transferred over to the US for completion/closing. Register Online
  6. Advise on the advantages of transferring completion/closing funds via a currency converting exchange company - to obtain online information or to open an online account with HIFX - click on the HIFX banner on the right.
  7. Arrange a Final Walk-Through of your property just prior to completion/closing.
  8. Advise and arrange the opening of an American Bank Account if required.
